The Fraunhofer Institute for Environmental, Safety, and Energy Technology in Sulzbach-Rosenberg conducts applied research, develops innovative technologies for public and industrial clients, and translates these into marketable products and processes. We investigate substances and materials from waste management and recycling and develop technologies for their material or energy recovery.
