As a Legal Counsel at Bitpanda, you will play a key role within the Broker Legal team, supporting a wide range of white label, product-related and regulatory initiatives across the Bitpanda Group. You will advise on innovative financial products, assist with the development and rollout of new offerings, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements in a rapidly evolving fintech environment.

• Act as a trusted legal advisor for product and regulatory matters, supporting white-label projects, product innovation, and rollout across Bitpanda's ecosystem.
• Partner cross-functionally with Product, Compliance, Operations, and Marketing to ensure legally sound and compliant business operations.
• Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of legal documents, including white-label agreements, terms and conditions, policies, and regulatory filings.
• Provide regulatory and commercial guidance on partnerships and financial products, including financial instruments, e-money, and crypto services.
• Enhance legal governance by developing internal processes, coordinating with regulators and external counsel, and supporting marketing, financial promotions, and vendor activities.

Who you are

• Education: Completed law degree (Master/Diploma), preferably from an Austrian or German university, with a solid foundation in , commercial. civil, corporate, and regulatory law. Fluency in German and English (both written and spoken) is essential.
• Experience: 2–3 years of post-graduate professional experience in a law firm or as in-house counsel, preferably within a regulated financial institution or fintech company.
• Expertise: Sound understanding of financial products, digital platforms, and the legal frameworks governing crypto-assets, financial instruments and e-money.
• Skills: Analytical thinker with strong drafting skills, pragmatic approach to problem-solving, and the ability to translate complex legal concepts into actionable guidance.
• Mindset: Proactive, detail-oriented, and adaptable team player with excellent communication skills and the confidence to work independently when required.
