We are looking for a 42 transcenders for
PEDAGOGICAL LEAD (w/m/d)
Full-time 38.5 hours | Location: Wels

In this key role, you will report directly to the Campus Manager of 42 Wels. Your main task will be to implement and further develop the 42 teaching methods at the new location in accordance with our global standards. You will work closely with the local IT/operations team and the pedagogical team in Vienna to ensure consistent quality and support.

• Real World Ready: Prepare our students for the challenges of the working world - both technically and personally.

Your responsibilities

• Curriculum & Program: Develop and monitor the new 42next curriculum to ensure it is up-to-date, effective, and "42-compliant."
• Events & Challenges: Organize hackathons, rushes, exams, and workshops that promote coding skills and teamwork.
• Community & Representation: Give talks (internal/external, AMAs) and be the educational face of the campus to the outside world.
• Data & Quality: Analyze student progress (data analysis), identify trends in cohorts, and derive improvements.
• Integrity: Further develop concepts and tools to ensure fair learning outcomes (e.g., anti-plagiarism measures).
• Mentoring: Select, organize, supervise and guide tutors (students who provide support during the piscine).

• A passion for learning and enjoyment in sharing knowledge.
• Strong communication skills when dealing with various target groups (Applicants, pisciners, students, partners).
• High level of self-organization and the ability to set priorities in a dynamic environment.
• Discretion and professionalism when dealing with confidential matters.
• Must-have: You have successfully completed the 42 Common Core (CC).

Your skills:

• Tech stack: In-depth knowledge of C, C++, Python, Go, and understanding of Docker, network architecture, and DevOps.
• 42 expertise: Deep understanding of the curriculum, the piscine, the peer-to-peer model, and the projects.
• Languages: Fluency in English is mandatory, knowledge of German is an advantage.
