Job Description
You'll connect with the role if you enjoy...

• building and maintaining Kubernetes applications in direct cooperation with the application developers based on AWS/GCP infrastructure provided by our SRE team
• building and maintaining GitOps deployment pipelines (GitLab, Kubernetes, helm, ArgoCD)
• working with the web app team on distributed logging, alerting and observability (grafana, prometheus, loki)
• coordinating between the sre and the web app development team
• taking care of the development and optimisation of the CI/CD pipelines together with our developers

Our current tech stack in the Web Application Team is:

• Infrastructure: Kubernetes, AWS, ArgoCD, Terraform, GitLab CI
• Data storage and querying: MongoDB, Redis, Elasticsearch
• Monitoring and performance tools: Prometheus, Elastic APM
• Application development: Java, Spring Boot, React
• Securing static secrets using SOPS or similar technologies

Qualifications
To connect with ecosio it is important to have…

• professional experience as a DevOps Engineer or a similar role
• scripting skills in at least one of the following languages: Bash, Python, Go, Rust, Java
• in-depth knowledge of the following technologies: Kubernetes, Continuous Integration, GitLab
• a good command of written and spoken technical English

And nice to have...

• a running or completed education in the field of computer science or engineering
• a kubernetes application developer (CKAD) certification
• some experience with monitoring spring boot application (spring boot actuator, health checks, metrics)
• experience with data storage technologies like: MongoDB, Redis, and/or other common cloud based (No)SQL solutions
• experience with gitops platforms (e.g. ArgoCD)
• some experience with system monitoring platforms (e.g. Prometheus)

According to the Austrian collective agreement, the minimum salary is €/year. Of course, we are happy to offer much higher compensation based on qualifications and experience
