Partnership Manager – Sales Team

We are looking for one of the key people to develop the program in the local market, a Partnership Manager who will oversee the strategy and execution of sales initiatives in the Austrian market. The primary objective of the role will be to acquire merchants in key categories such as grocery, petrol, fashion, beauty, electronics and e-commerce. We are looking for someone with 3-5 years of experience in Sales or Business Development based in Austria and fluent in both German and English.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the identification and pursuit of strategic partnerships with major accounts in the retail space, leveraging your network of senior executives in Austria to facilitate high-level negotiations and secure the contracts.
  • Lead introduction of key partners, including negotiation of key terms and expand cooperation with existing partners through strong communication and relationships with senior executives, account planning.
  • Efficiently manage the sales pipeline, ensuring all opportunities are tracked and converted into successful cashback / discount campaigns.
  • Stay informed of evolving customer needs, market trends and competitor activities, leveraging market feedback and data analytics to drive strategic decision making and continuous improvement of Dateio products.
  • Utilize sales data, shopper insights, and purchasing habits to produce analyses and reports that serve as a trusted resource and motivator to engage retailers.
  • Handle tracking of payments to ensure accurate and timely financial management of all campaigns.
  • Reporting activities and support of Country Manager.

Required skills and experience

  • Experience in Sales (ideally Farming and Hunting)
  • Willingness to travel (10-20%)
  • Relevant network within the retail and e-commerce field
  • Proficiency in developing and executing strategic sales plans, with a keen understanding of complex decision-making processes and stakeholder dynamics
  • Communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to effectively engage and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization
  • Analytical skills and feeling comfortable interpreting data together with our analytics-specialists
  • Good Power Point and presenting skills
