Fullstack Developer for e-commerce applications

As a Fullstack Developer for e-commerce applications (f/m/d) at Nuki, you will focus on developing, scaling, and maintaining our e-commerce systems with a primary focus on environments. You will also play a crucial role in advancing our established SRE practices, ensuring the resilience, scalability, and efficiency of our applications, particularly our e-commerce platforms, utilizing Docker, Kubernetes, and other SRE practices to enhance our operational capabilities and reliability. This will give you the chance to actively shape the future of Nuki.

Your Role

• You develop, scale, and maintain robust systems written in Typescript and GoLang.
• You implement and manage containerization and orchestration with Docker and Kubernetes.
• You participate in system design consulting and platform management.
• You oversee the automation of deployment processes and ensure seamless, zero-downtime deployments in a continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) environment.
• You monitor service health, respond to incidents, and proactively address potential issues before they impact services.
• You collaborate with cross-functional teams to align backend systems with business needs and ensure comprehensive system integration with APIs and external services.

Job Requirements

• You bring a minimum of 5 years of experience in software development with extensive knowledge of NodeJS.
• You are experienced in Kubernetes and Docker.
• You are strongly familiar with continuous integration tools and frameworks (e.g., Git, Azure DevOps).
• Preferably, you have familiarity with current AI capabilities, limitations, and best practices for leveraging AI in e-commerce architecture and development.
• Ideally, you bring experience in developing and scaling e-commerce solutions.
• You have strong problem-solving skills and a quality-focused mindset with attention to detail.
• You have excellent written and spoken English skills, German language skills are a plus.
• Experience with headless e-commerce platforms, server administration, and advanced containerization techniques is a plus.

For the advertised position, a minimum salary of € 3,843,- gross per month applies according to the collective agreement (no all-in). Willingness to significantly overpay if you have the appropriate qualifications. This position is open for applications in Graz.
