About the Role

We are looking for an Industrial Engineer (f/m/d) to join our Advanced Manufacturing Engineering department in Vienna (AT).

As Industrial Engineer, you are taking a key role in evaluation and improvement of the performance of our Smart Factory in Richen, Eppingen (DE). You are analyzing production data and modelling control logics to advance the value stream for scaling up production output, collaborating closely with production planners, automation engineers, digitization experts and data teams. Your work integrates into development and improvement of our production platform while you are especially engaged in the digital implementation of manufacturing processes.

You will be responsible for

  • The evaluation of production data to promote advancement of factory control systems
  • The provision of control logics and documented standards to our value streams and production processes
  • The support of process planning activities through preparation of product and material data to specific requests
  • The analysis and optimization of manufacturing performance
  • Contribution to and/or managing changes to products or respective manufacturing processes in series production (change control)

About You

  • Educational background in mathematics and statistics, automation or industrial engineering, production / process engineering, or comparable experience from graduating from a school for higher technical education
  • Professional experience in data analysis and modelling, Operations Research (mathematical optimization) or value stream design, ideally from manufacturing industry
  • Motivation to specify process logics and compile documented standards for production flow controls
  • Practically experienced with Lean Manufacturing principles and tools
  • Experience in factory simulation and / or BPMN (Business Process Model and Notation) process mapping will be of great advantage
  • Good knowledge of German and English, both written and spoken

Austrian salary range, based on 14 months €65.000—€75.000 EUR
