Role Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and strategically minded
Sales & Business Development Manager
with a strong technical background.
This role bridges
business development, tender management, and digital marketing
– driving UNIHA's international growth through both traditional and modern channels.
You will identify new business opportunities, lead offer preparation for international tenders, and help position UNIHA as a thought leader in sustainable water solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development & Sales
- Identify and develop business opportunities across Africa, the Middle East, and Eastern Europe
- Analyze public and private tenders, structure winning strategies, and coordinate complete bid preparation
- Lead offer creation together with engineering, procurement, and
finance responsibles - Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients, consultants, and institutional partners
- Support contract negotiations and assist management during project acquisition and financing discussions
Technical & Commercial Coordination of Quotation and Tenders
- Review technical specifications and translate client requirements into competitive and compliant offers
- Understand process-engineering fundamentals (e.g. UF, RO, etc.) to align technical design with commercial strategy
- Ensure coherence between technical deliverables, pricing, and contractual terms
Digital Presence & Marketing
- Manage and enhance UNIHA's
LinkedIn channel
: content creation, lead generation, digital leads - Coordinate marketing measures and sales funnels
- Contribute to corporate communication, case studies, and market presentations
Market Intelligence & Strategy
- Monitor competitors, regional trends, and financing instruments (e.g. OeKB, EIB, DFI programs)
- Propose strategic partnerships and regional representation models
- Report to management on order-intake forecast, pipeline evolution, and strategic priorities
Your Profile
- Ideally degree in
Environmental, Mechanical, or Process Engineering
, or
Business with technical affinity - Experience in international B2B or project-based industries (EPC, water, energy, or infrastructure) is of advantage
- Sound understanding of
technical tendering and EPC contract frameworks - Excellent command of
English
(German, French, or Portuguese advantageous) - Strong communication and presentation skills across technical and executive levels
- Entrepreneurial mindset, structured working style, and high self-motivation
- Familiarity with CRM tools, MS Office, and
LinkedIn - Willingness to travel internationally
