The European Society of Radiology (ESR) is a non-political and non-profit organisation dedicated to strengthening and uniting European Radiology. With more than 140,000 members worldwide, it has become one of the largest radiological societies. It organises one of the most innovative scientific congresses in this field, the European Congress of Radiology (ECR), in Vienna.

Do you thrive in the world of large-scale events? Would you like to contribute to one of the world's most prestigious medical congresses? Then become part of our Annual Meeting Department as a Project Manager with a focus on event technology, and help shape the European Congress of Radiology.

For this position both part-time and full-time employment is possible (20-38,5h).

Tasks
  • Independent planning and execution of selected congress projects, particularly in the areas of AV technology, digital infrastructure, and coordination of (technical) service providers
  • Coordination with internal teams regarding various aspects of the event (e.g. lecture halls, workshop rooms, lounges, etc.)
  • Budgeting for assigned projects
  • Close collaboration with various external partners to ensure smooth on-site operations
  • Contribution to the development and optimisation of internal and external digital tools used during the congress
  • Active involvement in the design of new technical concepts
Requirements
  • Professional experience in event or congress management
  • Excellent command of English (at least C1)
  • Technical understanding and interest in innovative solutions and current industry trends
  • Proficient in MS Office
  • Knowledge of CAD programs is an advantage
  • Strong organisational and communication skills

The monthly gross salary for this job vacancy is at least € 2,800 for 38.5h (14 times per year). The final salary depends on your relevant experience and qualifications and can be negotiated.
