3VC is a European venture capital fund that invests in carefully selected startups with global ambition once they have achieved product-market fit, typically at the series A stage. Our team is composed of former founders and operators who are driven by curiosity but grounded in discipline. We focus on quality over quantity and partner with only a handful of exceptional companies per year. 

Your Mission

As the Chief of Staff to our Senior Executives, you will be the strategic right-hand and operational force multiplier that drives their success and elevates the entire firm. You will act as the chief of staff for the Partner's professional world, enabling them to focus on what they do best: finding, funding, and supporting Europe's next iconic companies. Your mission is to bring order to complexity, anticipate needs before they arise, and serve as a central nervous system for key firm operations, ensuring we operate as a world-class institution.

Areas of Ownership

1. Strategic Partnership with the Partners: You will provide seamless, end-to-end support to the Partners. This isn't just about scheduling meetings; it's about optimizing the Partner's time and energy to maximize their impact. You will manage their complex calendar, orchestrate complex global travel and logistics, and serve as a trusted gatekeeper and representative in all communications.

2. Firm Operations & Platform Management: You will be the anchor for our operational excellence. You will own the processes that keep our firm running smoothly, from managing team-wide logistics and preparing documentation for our tax and finance service providers to ensuring our Vienna office is a hub of productivity. You are the person who builds and refines the systems that allow our team to perform at their peak.

3. Brand, Events & Ecosystem Engagement: You will be a key player in how 3VC presents itself to the world. You will take the lead in executing our high-touch events (such as Investor Day, founder dinners), support our investor relations, and manage key communication channels like our LinkedIn presence or our website. Your work ensures our brand is synonymous with quality and professionalism.

4. High-Impact Special Projects: You will be trusted to independently drive strategic, firm-building initiatives. Whether it's conducting a portfolio-wide best-practice survey or developing a new knowledge-sharing platform, you will have the autonomy to manage projects that directly contribute to our long-term goals.

What Success Looks Like

• Within 3 Months: You have earned the complete trust of the Partner and seamlessly integrated into their workflow. You are flawlessly managing the core logistics of their schedule and travel.

• Within 6 Months: You are proactively managing operational workflows for the entire firm, anticipating needs, and have successfully executed a major firm event from start to finish.

• Within 12 Months: You are independently driving strategic firm-building projects and are viewed by founders, investors, and the team as a key pillar of the 3VC platform.

Remuneration

Compensation for this role is commensurate with experience. The base salary starts at €60,000 gross per year. For the right candidate, we are prepared to offer a highly competitive package. The role also includes the possibility to participate in the fund's success.
