ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for a German-speaking
Account Manager
to own and grow relationships with our
largest automotive clients (OEMs & Tier-1 suppliers)
. In this role, you will be the primary point of contact for your portfolio, driving value for our clients while contributing to Prewave's growth.#

  • Nurture and build strong relationships with your portfolio automotive clients, ensuring long-term satisfaction and growth.
  • Develop and execute a strategic account plan to grow and strengthen your portfolio.
  • Manage internal and external stakeholder relationships on C-Level.
  • Lead complex sales-cycles and effectively present the value of the Prewave solutions to C-level executives of organizations.
  • Ownership of renewing existing agreements on time in order to prevent churn.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor on Prewave's solutions (LkSG, Resilience, EUDR, EUBR) and guide customers through ESG regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Identify, qualify (BANT qualification), and close upsell and cross-sell opportunities, negotiating contracts and pricing to maximize revenue.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activity to adjust account strategies and maintain a competitive edge.
  • Represent Prewave at events and conferences, expanding your network and strengthening customer relationships.

ABOUT YOU

  • 5+ years of selling software and/or services to accounts in the automotive or manufacturing industry
  • Proven success using solution selling methodologies
  • Consistent track record of achieving and exceeding targets
  • Excellent interpersonal, presentation, written & verbal communication skills
  • Strong negotiation, pipeline management and forecasting skills
  • Professional, results-driven attitude
  • Native in German, fluent in English, both written and spoken
  • Be willing to travel as required
  • Valid work permit for Austria

Bonus points for

  • Genuine interest in AI, risk prediction and supply chains
  • Experience in start-ups / scale-ups
  • Previous experience in working with supply chain and procurement departments

Competitive Compensation and Benefits:
The minimum gross monthly salary according to the IT collective agreement is EUR 4,485. As this is a sales position, the actual compensation package will include a competitive base salary, determined by your qualifications and experience, and a performance-based bonus.
