Job Description
QA/QC Manager 
Location: Vienna (MUST have an EU Passport)
 
Lead quality and commissioning on large-scale M&E projects across Europe.
 
We're seeking a QA/QC Manager to oversee Quality Assurance, Quality Control, and Commissioning activities on high-value mechanical and electrical construction projects based in Vienna.
 
This is a pivotal role for an engineer who thrives on technical precision, structured delivery, and ensuring every project meets the highest international standards.
 
Key Responsibilities
  • Lead QA/QC strategy from project planning through to client handover
  • Develop and implement Quality and Commissioning Plans aligned with ISO 9001
  • Conduct installation audits, inspections, and quality benchmarking
  • Manage FATs, SATs, and all handover documentation
  • Lead system walkdowns, snagging, and structured QA reporting
  • Drive continuous improvement and lessons learned across projects
  • Collaborate closely with site managers, engineers, and clients
 
About You
  • Degree-qualified Mechanical or Electrical Engineer (or equivalent)
  • 3+ years' experience in QA/QC, commissioning, or project engineering within M&E construction
  • Strong understanding of ISO 9001 and commissioning processes
  • Proactive and organised, with strong communication and leadership skills
  • Experience in data centres, pharma, or large-scale infrastructure is advantageous
  • Fluent in English (German a plus)
