Our client - a leading international company in the financial services and collections industry - is looking for an experienced German-speaking Team Leader to guide a dynamic team of over 30+ Collections Agents.

What You'll Be Doing
Lead & Inspire the Team

  • Manage, mentor, and develop a talented collections team of 30+ agents
  • Create a motivating work environment where everyone feels supported and valued
  • Set clear goals, track performance, and celebrate success together

Drive Performance & Deliver Results

  • Oversee daily operations including scheduling, workflow management, and KPIs
  • Provide regular coaching, feedback, and training to help your team reach new levels of performance
  • Ensure all collections activities meet company standards and regulatory requirements

Support Exceptional Customer Service

  • Handle escalations with professionalism and empathy
  • Maintain strong relationships with customers and internal teams
  • Continuously improve processes to enhance both efficiency and customer satisfaction

Reporting & Continuous Improvement

  • Monitor performance metrics and analyze results to identify trends and improvement areas
  • Prepare performance reports and share insights with senior management
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to drive operational excellence

Requirements
*What You Bring*

  • Proven experience leading teams of 20+ people - ideally in collections, customer service, or contact centre environments
  • A strong background in financial services or a related field
  • Excellent communication skills in German and English (both written and spoken)
  • A hands-on leadership style with a natural ability to motivate, coach, and inspire
  • Confidence working with CRM systems, collections tools, and MS Office
  • A proactive mindset and passion for helping teams and customers succeed
