SAP Technical Lead (all genders)

Your Responsibilities

  • Technical Ownership of the entire SAP landscape, inclu ding system architecture, performance, and scalability

  • Lead the ECC to S/4HANA migration, defining and driving the technical roadmap

  • Coordinate with functional teams, BASIS, infrastructure, and external SAP service providers

  • ABAP Development Leadership: Enforce development standards, review complex specifications and code, support debugging and custom code adjustments when needed

  • Governance & Compliance: Maintain development guidelines, manage the transport landscape, and ensure audit compliance

  • Interface & Integration Management: Oversee SAP interface operations (IDocs, RFCs, Web Services), ensuring robust monitoring and error handling

  • Project & Change Management: Act as technical lead in SAP-related projects, upgrades, and changes, ensuring stability and minimal business disruption

Your Profile

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or other related fields

  • 8+ years of experience in SAP technical roles, including at least 3 years in a lead or architect position

  • Extensive hands-on experience with ABAP development and SAP ECC architecture

  • Proven track record in SAP S/4HANA transition and migration projects

  • In-depth knowledge of SAP transport management and CTS+

  • Strong expertise in interface technologies (ALE/IDoc, PI/PO, APIs, etc.)

  • Fluent in both English and German (written and spoken)

  • Analytical thinker with a proactive approach to problem-solving

  • Skilled in cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder management

For this full-time position, we offer a minimum gross monthly salary of EUR 4.407,20 according to the collective agreement for the Metal Technology Industry (FMTI), with a willingness to overpay based on experience and qualifications.
