Join Our Team as a Junior Social Media Manager
Drive bwin's social media presence in Germany and Austria, leveraging our brand positioning, products & offers, activate our iconic sponsorships and local partnerships to create engaging content and connect with our community. Be the voice of bwin and shape the future of sports betting and gaming. This position is a full-time, permanent role, and can be based in either Vienna OR Berlin.

Language Requirement: Due to the nature of this role, the successful candidate must speak Fluent/ professional (C1 level) German and English.
Reporting into our Head of Brand (bwin) you will help shape the look and feel of bwin. You'll also:

• Bring our social media strategy to life with active, proactive, reliable, and structured execution.
• Be part of the team managing all bwin social channels and communications.
• Handle content planning for Daily Bets, develop new formats for the target audience, adapt bwin promos for social media, and produce branded content, activate sponsorships, and create content yourself.
• Actively create content yourself, including interviews and more.
• Support communication of new product features, company updates, and B2B initiatives through tailored social content.
• Drive and measure brand positioning, awareness, and engagement goals.
• Understand how to set trends and topics on social media.
• Manage projects effectively.
• Collaborate closely with all teams, acting as the news and engagement channel for bwin.

Qualifications

We're Looking For Someone Who

• Has an understanding of Marketing already, which will be gained either through previous roles, or studies (University course etc)
• Being interested in sports and games would be a benefit to the role, as you will understand our customer baseand be able to bring your own interests and passions to the role itself.
• An understanding of the DACH social media landscape and regional user behaviour.
• Active social media user with a deep understanding of trends and effective content.
• Fluent in German & English (Native/ C1)
• Knowledge of social media account management and ideally experience with social media tools.
• Hands-on mentality with a willingness to create content and interact directly with the community.
• Understands the power of Data within Marketing, and is someone who is keen to explore this future in their next role
• Prior work experience is a plus, but not a mandatory requirement.
