Python Developer (m/f/d) in High-Tech Start-Up

As part of our team, you will work on integration modules and algorithms on time series.

What you will do:

  • Implementing integrations with time series data base systems and other third party systems, automatization features, and algorithms for time series data.
  • Evaluate requirements and specifications, perform effort estimations, and write test cases for tasks and projects.
  • Participate in agile development practices, including stand-ups, sprint plannings and demo/retro sessions.

Your profile:

  • 2+years experience in writing modular, maintainable Python code, while keeping in mind Object-Oriented Design (OOD)
  • Quick learner when it comes to understanding underlying business problems and customer requirements
  • You value teamwork and don't hesitate to help your teammates, occasionally pair-programming to solve blockers
  • Independent and pragmatic, demonstrating strong ownership and accountability
  • Proficient in English
  • You have a valid work permission for Austria
  • You are willing to relocate or commute to Vienna - one of the most livable cities in the world

Nice to have:

  • Degree in Computer Science, or a similar field
  • Experience with time series database systems, REST APIs, GUI frameworks, and writing algorithms on time series data
  • Some experience with C++ (Python interfaces with our C++ application core)
  • Some knowledge of German is a plus

This is a full-time position (38.5h/week) with a minimum salary € gross/year.

Higher salary is possible based on qualifications.
