Production Manager – Film Project

This is an opportunity for an experienced line producer to join a film project based in Vienna, Austria. The role requires on-site presence throughout the project, which will extend beyond one week. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in line producing, be adept at managing budgets, schedules, and logistics, and demonstrate strong leadership in a fast-paced production environment. This position is suited for professionals who thrive in hands-on roles and are comfortable working closely with creative and technical teams on location.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee all aspects of production logistics, including scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation
  • Coordinate with directors, department heads, and crew to ensure smooth workflow and timely project delivery
  • Manage on-site operations, ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory requirements
  • Track expenses and maintain accurate financial records throughout the production
  • Resolve on-site challenges and adapt plans as needed to keep the project on track
  • Liaise with vendors, suppliers, and local authorities as required for the Vienna location

Skills And Requirements

  • Demonstrated experience as a line producer or production manager in film or television
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Proficiency in budgeting, scheduling, and production management software
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities for effective team coordination
  • Must be available to work on-site in Vienna, Austria for the full project duration (no relocation support)
  • Knowledge of local production regulations and logistics in Austria is highly desirable
  • Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing production needs
