Senior BA - 12 month contract opportunity with large Insurance company Your new company We're seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst to join a high-performing Commercial Insurance tribe, supporting a specialty lines product portfolio within a fast-paced delivery environment. This is a replacement role requiring someone who can hit the ground running, operate confidently in ambiguity, and build strong relationships quickly. Your new role Lead discovery and delivery phases across a complex commercial insurance initiative. Drive requirements gathering, analysis, and high-quality documentation. Partner closely with a Change Manager to support business change readiness activities. Engage with a broad stakeholder group, including external technology vendors, technology teams, and diverse business stakeholders. Facilitate workshops with clarity and confidence to draw out insights and align stakeholders. Work within an Agile environment, helping shape backlogs, stories, and delivery outcomes. What you'll need to succeed Strong experience as a Senior Business Analyst within commercial insurance (specialty or SME experience highly valued). Previous exposure to large, complex financial services or insurance environments. Ability to operate effectively under pressure and come up to speed quickly. Familiarity with insurance and broker platforms such as Vero Edge, SCTP, Sunrise, or similar systems. Proficiency across key tools including Confluence, JIRA, and SharePoint. Exceptional communication, documentation, and stakeholder management capabilities. Confidence working in ambiguous problem spaces, helping bring structure and clarity. Strong workshop facilitation and analytical thinking skills. What you'll get in return This role offers a 12-month contract with a potential to extend and $900 + super on day rate. This role is Melbourne-based, with a hybrid setting. You'll be joining a collaborative, delivery-focused tribe responsible for protecting businesses through a suite of specialty insurance products.
