Portfolio Delivery Manager 12 month contract Your new company Our client is a Brisbane based organisation looking for a Portfolio Delivery Manager for a 12 month contract. Your new role Lead and role model customer focused behaviour by delivering the highest standards of service to our internal and external customers. Utilise Project Management tools, to provide transparency of portfolio performance and facilitate production of reports and dashboards for consumption by a range of stakeholders Attend ICT specific assurance board meetings (e.g Architectural Assurance Board (AAB), Release Management Group (RMG), ICT Procurement Board, Change Approval Board (CAB) etc) as required to represent and support the project. Ensure appropriate plans are in place and that deliverables are produced to an acceptable level of quality and completeness, are within scope, time and budget, and are in accordance with contractual requirements Act as an escalation point for risks and issues. Assess project and portfolio-level risks and issues in collaboration with the ICT Project Services Manager. Manage conflicting priorities, manage interdependencies within their portfolio and across the portfolios; and seek delivery efficiencies within their portfolio and across the ICT Program of Work. Manage and take accountability for the performance of Project Managers to deliver projects to requirements, quality, budget and schedule Work with stakeholders to understand resource impacts and resource gaps and mitigate those gaps. Especially in regard expectations on the business for User Acceptance Testing as an example. Work and collaborate closely with ISB teams within project delivery and across the branch Mentor and provide guidance to delivery teams Lead performance excellence by setting clear direction, performance standards and expectations for individuals and teams. Give and receive regular feedback to enable performance to be improved and ensure individuals obtain the development and support they need to perform to the best of their ability. What you'll need to succeed At least 10 years' demonstrated experience in complex ICT organisations delivering fit for purpose and value for money outcomes. At least 10 year's demonstrated experience of successfully managing and leading sizeable multi-disciplinary ICT teams involved in delivering large scale, complex and transformational projects. Demonstrated ability to lead multi-functional teams, including working directly with lead business representatives/project managers/project owners often on highly sensitive and confidential matters. Demonstrated superior ability to negotiate, influence and manage complex and challenging issues in a sensitive environment, using highly effective relationship building, collaboration and interpersonal skills. Demonstrated ability to identify emerging issues, problem solve using sound judgement to develop potential options for resolution. Substantial experience in providing strategic advice, alongside possessing business acumen, financial management experience, risk management, resource management and reporting skills.
