IT Security Engineer (m/f/x) About the jobWe're looking for a driven IT Security Engineer to join our kununu IT team in Porto. In this role you'll safeguard our Microsoft 365‐centric environment and Atlassian suite (Jira, Confluence), secure core networking gear (Fortigate firewalls & Juniper switches), and provide application‐security support for kununu.com. You'll be a key player in keeping our 400‐user Saa S organization safe and compliant. #kununujobYour Tasks You design, implement, and maintain secure configurations for Microsoft 365, Atlassian, Fortigate firewalls, and Juniper switchesYou help shape kununu's security framework, protecting the company and building external trustYou monitor security events, hunt threats, and lead incident response across the cloud stackYou perform vulnerability assessments, patch management, and penetration testing of Saa S infrastructureYou define and enforce IAM policies, MFA, conditional access, and secure collaboration workflowsYou support application security for kununu.com through secure coding reviews, SAST/DAST tools, audits, and incident handlingYou automate security processes with Power Shell, Python, or Terraform, and maintain drift detectionYou collaborate with Dev Ops to embed security into CI/CD pipelinesYou ensure compliance with GDPR, ISO 27001, and internal standards Your Skills Deep expertise in Microsoft 365 security (Intune, Defender for Endpoint, Azure AD Conditional Access) and Atlassian security best practicesProven experience securing Fortigate firewalls and Juniper networking gearStrong background in vulnerability management, SIEM, threat hunting, incident response, and compliance auditsFamiliarity with secure coding, SAST/DAST tools and application‐level penetration testingComfortable scripting in Power Shell, Python or similarExcellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and ability to translate security concepts into actionFluent in English (Portuguese is a plus) Your Benefits Bring your dog to the officeUp to 12 weeks Workation6 week vacationMobile devices also for private useDrinks, food & goodiesRemote work optionTrust-based working hoursCommunication on equal termsTransparent, competitive salaryBoard Q&A Your ContactYou still have questions?Feel free to get in touch with me.BarbaraBárbara SerranoRecruiting Managerbarbara.serrano@new-work.se
