AufgabenThe impact you'll makeAs a Quality Engineer at Lam, you'll make an impact in ensuring manufacturing processes and products meet quality standards by designing, implementing, and maintaining quality assurance within the quality management systems (QMS). You design methods for inspecting, testing, and evaluating the accuracy of production processes and finished products. By analyzing production data and reports, you identify trends and work across functions to resolve technical, quality and production challenges. Your expertise will help develop excellence in product design and manufacturing supporting Lam's commitment to delivering high-quality and reliable products.What you'll do Owns quality management/tracking within Engineering and is the quality case owner (QCO)Actively monitors and analyses Engineering quality and resolves quality issues via systematic root cause analysis and corrective actionsEstablishes measures to improve the Engineering output (drawings, BOMs, ) qualityIdentifies systematic gaps/potentials on products, quality improvement capabilities and the quality management system itselfTracks all Engineering relevant KPIs (development milestones, feasibility analysis, technical modifications, problem reports, )Moderates and documents all Engineering relevant 8 D reportsDrives Engineering quality related RCCAsTracks relevant NCIs and NCEs within EngineeringCollaborates in cross-functional quality reviews, dispositioning and RCCA reviews and takes part in development and implementation of quality standards, methods and proceduresContributes to Engineering standards definitionAssures compliance to in-house and/or external specifications and standards (i.e. ISO, Six Sigma, etc.).Makes recommendations for corrective action necessary to ensure conformity with quality requirements and to meet or exceed our quality objectives Profil Who we're looking for Technical degree (Bachelor or Master) with experience in quality or degree in quality with technical experienceGood knowledge of MS Office (especially Excel) and SAPFundamental understanding and experience in quality management systems (QMS)Experience in quality methods like 8 DVery good data analysis capabilities - from data mining to data analysis and conclusions Preferred qualifications Fluent English (written/oral) is a must, German language skills are beneficialVery good presentation skills with ability to communicate cross-functionally and with various levels of an organizationAbility to work in a team environment with aggressive deadlines and multiple prioritiesDemonstrates high flexibility and significant technical independenceStructured working style and high working accuracy also under pressureStrongly developed sense of duty and qualityOpenness to change/improvementQuality certifications such as Six Sigma Black Belt is a plus Wir bieten This position is subject to the Austrian Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA) for Employees in the Metal Technology Industry ( ) in occupation group F.
