As a Reservation & Ticketing Agent at the Airport, you will be responsible for the smooth day-to-day operations at your assigned station, ensuring the highest standards of passenger, freight and mail handling in line with Ethiopian Airlines' policies and procedures.
Tasks:
Supervise and coordinate all station operations including passenger check-in, ramp handling and freight processing
Ensure on-time performance and efficient flight coordination
Manage catering quality, quantity and invoicing, including periodic audits of catering providers
Monitor and report ULD inventory in line with IATA standards
Handle lost baggage and freight tracing and escalation
Ensure full compliance with aviation safety, security and brand standards
Build and maintain relationships with government authorities, ground handlers and key clients
Promote freight and mail business opportunities at station level
A valid work permit for Austria is required
Profile:
Degree or diploma in Aviation Management, Tourism, Business Administration or a related field
1–2 years of experience in airport operations, ground handling or airline services
Strong knowledge of IATA procedures and aviation safety regulations
Proven customer service skills with the ability to handle passenger-facing situations professionally, calmly and with a solution-oriented mindset
Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail
Fluent in English; Amharic language is an advantage
Willingness to work in a shift-based, dynamic operational environment

The position is subject to the collective bargaining agreement for travel agencies; the minimum gross monthly salary is EUR 2,225 (full-time), with a likely above-agreement compensation.
