You must be willing to attend out of hours callouts (on a roster system) and be able to pass a police integrity check and a Commercial Driver's Medical and live locally (due to call-out requirements). Plus, you must be able to "think on your feet" and follow directions as well as taking the initiative to succeed. Non-driving duties will involve yard work when necessary. Mechanical knowledge is required, as you will be responsible for the basic maintenance of your truck. Minimum licence is MR (manual) with a view to upgrading to HR (manual) with the assistance of Geraldton Towing Services. We are looking for full-time drivers (manual HR and/or HC licence) to join our team and operate our tow trucks (tilt trays and heavy). Tilt trays are on a three-week roster with 50% of time on call, two weeks on, one week off. And the roster is set around a full day weekend, one on heavy, two on call. And you must be flexible with rosters as our industry includes callouts after hours, weekends and public holidays. Weekdays hour can range from 8 – 15 hours when on call. And when you are rostered on for weekends, consider yourself on call for 24 hours a day. However, we are willing to be flexible, and work around any unexpected commitments you may have.
