About The Role As the Student Support Officer, you will play a vital role in enhancing student wellbeing and academic outcomes through collaboration with students, families, and staff. Key Responsibilities Build and sustain positive relationships with students, parents, community, and elders, providing input into local decision-making to ensure optimum outcomes. Liaise with families and conduct home visits to encourage school attendance and motivate students. Recognise and address educational, social, emotional, or behavioural issues among students. Monitor student behaviour and wellbeing, identifying issues and organising intervention strategies. Lead initiatives to foster a positive, caring, and supportive environment for students, families, and community members. About You Strong interpersonal and communication skills to build relationships with diverse stakeholders. Experience in identifying and addressing student wellbeing and behavioural concerns. Ability to work collaboratively within a team-based management approach. Creative problem-solving skills to develop effective intervention strategies. Commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive school environment. It is a mandatory condition of this role that you possess a current driver's licence.
