We are looking to fill TWO Full Time Hepatology Clinical Nurse Consultant Positions Clinical Nurse Consultant – Hepatology The Hepatology Clinical Nurse Consultant provides a range of specialist care consultation, coordination, management and support to liver disease patients and liver programs inclusive of viral hepatitis and other liver disorders, and a Fibroscan clinic. This is a multifaceted role that involves facilitating care and the delivery of Viral hepatitis (Hepatitis B and C) treatment and other nursing care as required in a range of settings inclusive of Outpatient, Judicial, Mental Health, Maternity services, and community. Clinical Nurse Consultant – Hepatocellular Carcinoma The Hepatocellular Carcinoma Clinical Nurse Consultant provides specialist care, guidance, and support to patients with HCC. The role is responsible for being a vital member of the multidisciplinary team, including attending and presenting at weekly radiology meetings, maintaining databases, and running nurse-led clinics. The role involves the commencement and follow up of systemic therapies in consultation with the medical team, as well as close early follow up after interventional radiology procedures. With close support from the medical team the HCC CNC works autonomously with a complex group of patients to ensure excellence in clinical and supportive care.
