The Opportunity Based in Karratha, WA, the Operations Supervisor is responsible for supervising employees and work activities to ensure that all operational tasks are completed safely and meet requirements. Awareness of how position contributes to the branch collective performance – route / service efficiency, teamwork, superior customer service, timely reporting of issues, and sharing growth opportunities are all examples of how it is contributing to positive financial performance Support and implement continuous improvement of labour efficiencies Ensure employees complete pre‑start checks and post‑run checks Act on equipment maintenance and servicing issues as scheduled, or as a result of pre‑start and / or post‑run checks, and order parts and PPE, as required Maximise customer service and operational efficiencies through effective supervision Investigate and report customer complaints to line management in accordance with requirements About You Our ideal candidate will be a people‑focused Supervisor from a transport & logistics background with excellent time management skills, with the ability to effectively manage timeframes. Industrial / employee relations legislation knowledge HS and environmental management systems and legislation HR licence is highly desirable Intermediate Microsoft Office skills Supervisory and teamwork, ideally within a unionised environment Transport / waste management / logistics and / or recycling industry background Why join Cleanaway?
