Competitive salary & performance-based incentive The Position Our Bartonvale Villages are made up of two beautiful Villages situated only five minutes’ walk apart - Bartonvale Gardens and Bartonvale Lodge. Home to a relaxed, friendly and supportive community in Enfield’s peaceful tree-lined streets just 9km from the CBD, your role at Bartonvale Gardens will be pivotal in implementing RetireAustralia’s purpose to create thriving communities where older Australians live the life they choose in their own home. This position reports directly to the Regional Operations Manager and will champion the delivery of bringing RetireAustralia's mission to life. As the operational leader of the village, you will proactively take responsibility for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the village, ensuring that it runs smoothly and efficiently, while delivering high-quality services to our residents. With our residents at the core of everything we do, your ability to show empathy and understanding, alongside your dedication to maintaining consistently high levels of resident satisfaction, will be integral to your success. Reporting to the Regional Operations Manager, your duties include: Overall management of the retirement village, including financial management, staff management, and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards. Planning, developing, and managing Village budgets. Manage key services and maintain presentation of the Villages to high standards. Develop and maintain relationships with residents, their families, and the wider community. Provide exceptional customer service to residents, families, and other stakeholders. Oversee the recruitment, training, and management of staff, ensuring a high standard of service is delivered at all times. Implement policies and procedures to ensure the safety and well-being of residents. Work collaboratively with the wider management team to ensure the successful operation of the village. Selection Criteria Previous experience in a similar role – retirement village or management of a multi-faceted service organisation Previous experience within Retirement Living, Aged or Community Care services (desirable) Strong working knowledge of the Retirement Villages Act (or willingness to quickly ascertain), and other relevant regulations and standards, including health and safety Demonstrated Managerial and Financial Management skills Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Relevant qualification in Business or Retirement Living (desirable) Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check (or ability to obtain) First Aid & CPR Certificate(or ability to obtain) With a company culture that speaks true to its values, we provide a one-of-a-kind environment.
