About your new employer: Our client is a dynamic renewable energy company focused on delivering large-scale wind, solar, and battery storage projects across Australia and New Zealand. About the role: Provide commercial and project support across a diverse renewable energy portfolio. You’ll advise on and negotiate key project and transactional matters, including: Preparing, negotiating, and managing general commercial contracts, including non-disclosure agreements, consultancy agreements, service agreements, and documents relating to dispute resolution and contract administration. Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a broad range of project documentation, including EPC, supply and install, balance of plant, operations and maintenance (O&M), connection, and offtake (PPA) agreements. Advising on land acquisition, tenure arrangements, and obtaining requisite planning and development approvals to support project delivery. The ideal candidate: Admitted Lawyer with 5+ years’ experience in advising on energy or infrastructure projects in Australia. Coming out of a large or specialised law firm and/or in-house within the energy/infrastructure sector. Skilled in managing external counsel and balancing legal and commercial risk. Strong communicator with strategic thinking and influencing ability.
