Yard Coordinator | IMMEDIATE START

We're on the lookout for a sharp, no-nonsense Yard Coordinator who's ready to take charge, keep things moving, and make sure our yard runs like a well-oiled machine. If you are highly organised, experienced in a fast-paced environment, tackle issues head-on, and lead your team with purpose, this role is for you Yard Coordinator – Own the Yard, Drive the Action Take charge of yard operations - coordinate truck movements, loading/unloading, delivery schedules, and keep everything running like clockwork. Stay sharp and in control – coordinate orders, stock levels, and maintain driver schedules while working closely with internal teams. Keep your finger on the pulse - track stock transfers, scrap movements, and smash out daily inventory checks. Maximise space, maintain order, and keep the yard spotless - because a tidy yard is a safe yard. Build solid relationships with crews, subcontractors, and customers - keep things flowing and safe. Step up when things get tough - solve problems fast, stay cool under pressure, and deliver every time. Lead by example – set the standard, train new team members and help build a tight-knit, high collaborating team. Bring 5+ years of hands‑on yard or logistics coordination experience – heavy ugly or oversized freight is a requirement. Hold a Cert III in Logistics (or similar), a current driver's licence, and forklift ticket - you know your way around the gear. Be laser‑focused, organised, and ready - juggling priorities without dropping the ball should be your strength. Be a quick learner and ready to learn every day – you need to know the yard, the products and the customers inside & out.
