Speech Pathologist – New Graduate Join to apply for the Speech Pathologist - New Graduate role at The Royal Children's Hospital . The Royal Children’s Hospital’s Vision is “A world where all kids thrive”. This is a full‑time, fixed‑term Grade 1 New Graduate role in the Speech Pathology Department. You will provide high‑quality assessment and treatment to paediatric inpatients and outpatients at RCH with communication and/or swallowing difficulties across a range of clinical areas. You will receive training and be exposed to a variety of clinical areas during your 12‑month period. What You’ll Achieve Provide high‑quality clinical speech pathology services to in/outpatients at RCH Demonstrate evidence‑based practice and a commitment to staying up‑to‑date Work effectively and flexibly within teams demonstrating strong communication and collaboration skills Prepare timely, well‑written reports/documentation and provide effective verbal feedback to referrers, patients, families, and teams Act in a professional and ethical manner Your Skills and Experience Bachelor of Speech Pathology or equivalent tertiary qualification Eligibility for practising membership of Speech Pathology Australia Meet the requirements of the Speech Pathology Australia Professional Self‑Regulation program Upholds the Speech Pathology Australia Code of Conduct Other Requirements Current National Criminal Record Check (or willingness to obtain one) Valid Working with Children Check Current NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain one) Compliance with RCH’s “Staff Immunisation – Prevention of Vaccine‑Preventable Diseases” procedure What We Offer Salary Packaging – increase your take‑home pay Parkville location, close to public transport Option for a rostered day off each month 5 weeks paid annual leave per year Application Process To apply, you will need a resume and a tailored cover letter (maximum 2 pages) outlining your skills, experience, and suitability for the position, as well as a copy of your academic transcript.
