Part-Time | 10 Hours per Week | QCT Registered | Start January 2026 We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced primary school teacher to support the home education of our vibrant, articulate, and motivated 5- and 6-year-old boys. Both children have a natural love of learning, and we are looking for someone who can teach, mentor, and help guide their academic and personal development in a fun, engaging, and structured way. This is a part-time position (approx. 10 hours per week), generally Monday–Wednesday, 9am–12.15pm, with some flexibility if required. Learning takes place in person, split between two locations:• Brendale – our workplace, with a dedicated learning room• Burpengary East – our home, with a dedicated learning room and an outdoor area for activities These locations will alternate on a fortnightly basis. About the Role The ideal educator will provide a balanced, fun learning program focused on core academics while nurturing creativity, curiosity, and confidence. Responsibilities Teach English, reading, writing, Mathematics, Science, and incorporating Geography Provide engaging lessons tailored to individual learning styles and needs Support the development of strong study habits, learning strategies, and academic confidence Collaborate closely with parents to ensure learning continuity and measurable progress This role is ideal for someone who genuinely enjoys teaching and thrives on creativity, flexibility, and building meaningful learning connections with young children. Qualifications QCT registered – full, provisional, or PTT considered Experienced in Primary Childhood Education (essential) Confident teaching across multiple subject areas Able to plan stimulating and age-appropriate educational projects A strong communicator who works collaboratively with families Energetic, compassionate, and excited to help children thrive Fluent in English (a second language is a bonus but not required) An Australian citizen, PR holder, or visa holder with full work rights Please note: only applicants with recognised teaching qualifications will be considered.
