Role We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Chinese Teacher to join our dynamic Secondary School team at St Andrews Christian College. As a Secondary School Teacher – Chinese, you will be responsible for: Responsibilities Delivering engaging and effective Chinese language lessons to secondary school students. Developing and implementing a comprehensive curriculum that caters to different learning styles and abilities. Providing constructive feedback to students to support their learning and development. Creating a positive and inclusive learning environment that fosters academic growth and personal development. Collaborating with colleagues to contribute to the ongoing improvement of the Chinese language program. Qualifications A recognised teaching qualification with relevant endorsements in Chinese language education. Demonstrated proficiency in spoken and written Chinese, along with a sound understanding of Chinese culture. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and motivate students effectively. A commitment to upholding the values and ethos of St Andrews Christian College within the classroom setting. This Fixed Term position is to cover staff leave during 2026, with an approximate FTE of 0.64.
