We are looking for a nurse experienced as a Clinical Nurse Educator to work at Wyvern Private Hospital in the Orthopaedic Surgery ward. We are looking to offer a part time contract (3 days/week) to the right candidate.This role will see you working in the Education team and within the greater hospital multidisciplinary clinical healthcare team to support the education and clinical needs of the Orthopaedic surgery ward. Imperative to your success in this role will be delivering exceptional education and clinical outcomes. For this role, you'll have the following : A minimum of three (3) years clinical experience in Orthopaedic Surgical nursing Experience as a clinical educator in Orthopaedic Surgical nursing Post graduate registration in Orthopaedic Surgical nursing and or Education (desirable) A certificate IV in Training and Assessment or working towards or willing to undertake Demonstrated clinical leadership with advanced clinical skills Ability to deliver clinical support in Orthopaedic Surgical nursing, nursing education programs and training and assessment to clinical nurses A genuine passion to educate clinical staff A strong familiarity with NSQHS standards, other industry standards and the accreditation process Sound clinical decision making, problem solving, organisational, time management, communication, computer and software program skills Ability to work independently and within a team Dedicated commitment to continuous improvement of self and others A genuine commitment to providing compassionate care that aligns with Wyvern Private Hospital's "Care Without Compromise" philosophy Other Requirements: Current registration with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency as a Registered Nurse, with no restrictions Permanent work rights within Australia with no restrictions (unfortunately sponsorship is not currently available) Valid Working with Children Check National Police Check Proof of vaccinations Most of all we're looking for friendly, enthusiastic people who'll give 'care without compromise', who are professional and dedicated, and who want to be part of our special Wyvern family.
