Store Manager

As the Store Manager at Local Grocers & Meats, you will be responsible for leading and managing our store operations in Armadale, WA. This full-time role is crucial in ensuring our store runs efficiently and delivers an exceptional shopping experience for our customers. You will be a key member of our leadership team, driving sales, managing staff, and upholding our company's values and standards. Prior experience in fresh produce and/or meat sales is highly regarded and will be considered essential for this role. What you’ll be doing Oversee all daily store operations, including inventory management, staff scheduling, and customer service Develop and implement strategies to drive sales, improve profitability, and enhance the customer experience Lead, motivate, and develop a team of retail associates, providing coaching, training, and performance management Ensure the store is clean, well-stocked, and maintains high standards of presentation and organisation Monitor and analyse store performance data, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions Manage stock ordering, receiving, stock rotation, waste control and inventory accuracy across produce, grocery and meat. Monitor sales performance and margins, implementing local promotions to grow revenue and minimise shrinkage. Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies What we’re looking for Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a retail management role, preferably in the grocery or food industry Prior experience in fresh produce and/or meat sales is highly regarded and will be considered essential for this role.
