Employment Details Employment Type: Full‑Time (2 days permanent, 3 days temporary until end of 2028). Part‑time or job‑share arrangements may also be considered. Position Classification: Speech Pathologist Level 3 Remuneration: A$116,892 – 120,680 full‑time equivalent base salary range (excludes super, leave loading and salary packaging). Hours Per Week: 38 Location: Westmead Applications Close: Midnight on 4 January 2026 About the Role Sydney Children’s Hospitals Network is the largest paediatric health care entity in Australia. We care for thousands of children each year in our hospitals and in their homes — with one purpose in mind — to help young people live their healthiest lives. This shared‑service role offers a senior Speech Pathologist the opportunity to shape and expand neurorehabilitation and acute care speech pathology services across two dynamic departments at The Children’s Hospital at Westmead – KidsRehab (3 days per week, temporary role until end of 2028) and Speech Pathology (2 days per week permanent role). The position focuses on paediatric feeding, communication, and neurorehabilitation needs, spanning inpatient and outpatient care. It provides the chance to work with complex populations including children with cerebral palsy, brain injury, and cardiac conditions. The role can either be full‑time or split between the two departments (suitable part‑time candidates will be considered based on demonstrated skills/experience). About You We’re looking for someone who: Has a bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Speech Pathology with eligibility for membership of Speech Pathology Australia. Has extensive post‑graduate clinical experience with demonstrated advanced clinical practice and reasoning skills, and can work autonomously while managing busy and complex client groups.
