Our clinic space includes an inviting waiting room managed by a friendly front of house team, 14 comfortable consultation rooms and 3 telehealth pods. In the spacious back‑of‑house co‑working area, you’ll find an abundance of natural light, lush greenery, shared books and resources, and the comforting presence of Hugo, our beloved therapy dog. The space also includes a versatile studio/lounge for workshops or relaxed “bean bag time,” and a fully equipped kitchen stocked with AllPress coffee and a variety of teas. Read more about our space here: The Role We are seeking an experienced and reflective psychologist or mental health social worker to step into a Lead Clinician role at The Mind Room. This is a hands‑on opportunity where you will provide high‑quality clinical care and lead team members. You will work closely with the Clinic Manager to support a thriving, ethically grounded, and future‑focused clinical environment. What You Will Be Doing Clinical Practice: Provide evidence-based care to individuals or couples as part of a manageable, flexible caseload Clinical Leadership: Offer support to clinicians across different career stages Workforce Development: Support early‑career professionals and clinical registrars through onboarding, training, and reflective feedback Service Quality: Contribute to risk management, clinical governance, and quality improvement initiatives Team Culture: Help embed affirming, inclusive, and relational practices across our team Strategic Input: Work with the Clinic Manager to guide service innovation and future planning The full job description is available here: What You Will Bring AHPRA registration as a Psychologist or AHSW‑accredited Mental Health Social Worker with the ability to bill under Medicare Minimum 4 years of post‑registration experience, including experience in private practice or mixed‑service settings Strong foundations in third‑wave CBT approaches (e.g., ACT, CBT and CFT) and a reflective, client‑centred approach An interest in team‑based care, values‑driven leadership, and service development Why Join The Mind Room?
