The roleLead the Australasia Naval Liaison Office (NLO) and actively contribute to the Naval Centre of Expertise (NCoE) and leadership team, helping shape naval strategies, policies, and procedures to ensure global consistency across the naval structure. Serve as the primary liaison between Lloyd’s Register and regional government agencies and navies, strengthening LR’s presence and strategic positioning within the sector. Monitor industry trends and competitor developments within the naval sector, identifying and recommending areas for research and future service development to enhance LR’s competitive advantage. Manage and respond to client feedback, ensuring timely implementation of actions and solutions that uphold high standards of service delivery. Provide oversight to projects within the naval discipline, ensuring they meet quality standards, cost expectations, and contractual obligations. Present deliverables to senior external clients, advising on the most appropriate solutions and offering alternatives where needed. Deliver specialist guidance and technical support within the naval sector, building and maintaining strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders to resolve service issues and support business growth. Coordinate with other business areas and regional offices to ensure consistent development and delivery of commercial and service solutions. Translate business plans and cost structures into actionable objectives, driving system, process, and procedural improvements within the business area.
