Booosst Electrical Data and Security PTY LTD – Clayton South VIC OPERATIONS MANAGER – ELECTRICAL, DATA & SECURITY Location: Melbourne, Victoria Company: Booosst Electrical, Data & Security (Booosst EDS) Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent About the Role Booosst Electrical, Data & Security (Booosst EDS) is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead the delivery, people, and performance side of our growing project portfolio across the Electrical, Data and Security sectors. This is a hands‑on leadership role for someone who thrives in fast‑moving environments managing people, projects, and profitability while maintaining Booosst EDS’s reputation for excellence across major Government, Defence, Health, and Commercial clients. You’ll be working alongside our Managing Director and senior leadership team to drive operational discipline, deliver multi‑million‑dollar infrastructure projects, and support the growth of a dynamic, high‑performing business. Key Responsibilities Oversee day‑to‑day operations across multiple project sites (Electrical, Data, Security & Civil). Lead project delivery teams, managing project managers, site supervisors, and field staff. Review project margins, labour performance, and material costs through SimPRO / Xero. Ensure all works meet Booosst’s compliance standards: AS/NZS 3000, 3080, and 2201. Manage procurement, supplier performance, and client variation approvals. Build and mentor a strong site leadership culture through accountability and communication. Report directly to the Managing Director and Executive Team with operational KPIs and project health updates. Identify cost‑saving opportunities and deliver continuous improvement initiatives. About You You’re a natural leader who’s equally comfortable in the boardroom or on‑site. You know how to get the best out of people, balance operational priorities, and deliver quality work to specification, schedule, and budget. You’ll need to bring: Minimum 10+ years in the Electrical, Data, or Security industry. Proven leadership experience managing multiple teams and projects concurrently. Strong financial acumen and familiarity with job management systems (SimPRO, AroFlo, etc.). Strong relationships with industry experts and partner communities. Excellent communication and conflict resolution skills. Ability to manage risk, safety, and compliance in live operational environments. A strategic mindset with the ability to roll up your sleeves when needed. Licences & Qualifications A-Grade Electrical Licence OR Equivalent (essential) Private Security Installer Licence (preferred) Construction White Card Current Driver’s Licence Cert IV / Diploma in Leadership, Project Management or Business (advantageous) Working with Children & Police Check – No Disclosable Outcomes Why Join Booosst EDS?
