These placements include design, analysis, and network planning, as well as development, project controls, commercial operations, and construction. This well-rounded comprehensive experience will prepare you for a successful long-term career at Transgrid, with potential roles after the program including Electrical Engineer, Project Engineer, Construction Engineer, Designer, Project Developer, Site Manager, and Project Controller. Eligibility Criteria: Degree: Hold or be in your final year of your degree in your relevant discipline:Mechanical or Mechatronic Engineering Australian or New Zealand Citizen/ Permanent Resident or eligible permanent visa holder Graduate or Expected Graduate by end of 2026 Available for Assessment Centre in-person in Ultimo May 2026 Demonstrate key qualities: Strong team player, clear communicator, lateral thinker, and passionate about environmental and social responsibility The Recruitment Process: Eligibility: Check your eligibility and ensure you meet the required degree qualification. Online Testing: If you pass screening, you will receive an email with instructions for our 12-minutes online test covering numeracy, literacy and abstract reasoning. Shortlisting: The recruitment team will evaluate your video interview and notify you if you are unsuccessful.
