Handyperson role at The Star Entertainment Group Overview The Star Gold Coast has evolved since 2014 to offer world‑class hotels, restaurants and entertainment. As a Handyperson at our Dorsett Hotel, you will maintain the facilities and enhance guest experiences through timely repairs, renovations and general maintenance. Responsibilities Perform a wide range of tasks, including minor repairs, renovations, and general maintenance across our properties. Ensure the timely and efficient completion of assigned tasks while adhering to safety protocols and quality standards. Collaborate with the Property Operations team to identify and address maintenance needs proactively. Maintain accurate records and documentation of work performed. Assist in the planning and execution of larger‑scale maintenance and renovation projects. Qualifications Proven experience as a handyperson, with a strong background in carpentry, plumbing, electrical or general building maintenance. Excellent problem‑solving skills and the ability to think critically. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high‑quality work. Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Flexibility to work Saturday to Wednesday from 11:00 am to 7:06 pm.
