Windows Covering Instalation Trade Assistant We are seeking a reliable and skilled Windows Covering Installation Trade Assistant to join our team at Blinds n Shutters' in Thornton, NSW 2322. In this casual role, you will assist our experienced tradespeople with the installation of a variety of window coverings, including blinds, shutters, awnings, and curtains. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands‑on experience in the window coverings industry and contribute to the success of our growing business. This is a casual role, with a minimum of 32 hours a week to start; moving to possible full‑time employment. What you'll be doing Assisting the lead installer with the installation of window coverings Ensuring the safe and proper handling of materials and equipment Performing basic tasks such as measuring, cutting, and preparing materials Warehouse duties: receiving and logging deliveries Maintaining a clean and organised work environment Adhering to all relevant safety protocols and procedures Providing excellent customer service and support throughout the installation process What we're looking for Some experience in the building trades, window covering installation or a willingness to learn Good communication and teamwork skills Attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship Physical fitness and the ability to lift and manoeuvre heavy materials A valid driver's licence and reliable transportation What we offer At Blinds n Shutters', we are committed to providing a supportive and rewarding work environment for our employees.
