Special Event Support Inflatable Activity Assistant City of Port Adelaide Enfield – Kilburn SA Are you enthusiastic about community events and enjoy working in a hands‑on environment? The Kilburn Community Centre is seeking Special Event Volunteers to assist with the set‑up, supervision, and pack‑down of an inflatable Jumping Castle at family‑friendly indoor events. This is a rewarding opportunity to be part of a vibrant team supporting safe and fun activities for children and families in our local community. Key Responsibilities Assist with the safe set‑up and pack‑down of the inflatable Jumping Castle Monitor and manage the inflatable area during events to ensure safe use Engage positively with children, families, and other volunteers Follow safety procedures and event guidelines as trained Assist with other event activities Requirements Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting (20kg or more), carrying, and setting up equipment (manual handling training will be provided) Willingness to undertake relevant training, including manual handling and safety procedures Ability to follow instructions and work collaboratively as part of a team Availability for occasional School Holidays, weekend or evening events Willingness to obtain relevant clearances (e.g., Working with Children Check, National Police Clearance) as required All necessary training will be provided.
