We’re growing fast. We’re 25 people today and doubling headcount next year. Big product expansion, major distribution deals, and strong capital backing mean we’re entering a true hyper‑growth phase. The Mission Your mission is to build the talent foundation that powers the next stage of our growth. You’ll architect the systems, processes, and standards that attract and close the people who will define our company. Success looks like this Every hire you deliver makes the team smarter, faster, and more capable — directly driving our ability to scale originations into the billions. Day one is 90% high‑velocity recruiting You’ll personally own our next 20–30 hires. If you execute well, within 12–18 months you’ll start building the broader people function underneath you and step into a Head of People pathway. What You’ll Own Run the full hiring engine end‑to‑end across technical, product, credit, ops, sales and leadership roles Design a best‑practice hiring system (structured interviews, scorecards, competency frameworks) Own and optimise our ATS to create transparency, speed and exceptional candidate experience Lead sourcing strategy (outbound, branding, referrals, communities, events) Build warm pipelines for high‑priority roles ahead of demand Deliver actionable hiring analytics (time‑to‑fill, funnel health, quality metrics) Benchmark compensation and guide founders on talent market trends Manage external recruiters for niche/overflow hiring Strengthen our employer brand through content, outbound messaging, and storytelling What You Bring 7–10+ years full‑cycle talent acquisition experience, ideally across both agency and high‑growth startups A track record of scaling a team from ~20→80+ people Exceptional sourcing capability across engineering, GTM and operational roles Deep experience in structured interviewing and data‑driven hiring Strong command of modern ATS tools and hiring analytics A builder mindset: you thrive in ambiguity, move fast, and enjoy creating structure from scratch A strong sense of candidate experience, storytelling, and employer brand Why join us Build from the ground up: shape the talent function at one of Australia’s fastest‑growing fintechs Founding hire: define the hiring standards and culture of the entire company Career acceleration: clear pathway to Head of People / VP People as we scale Meaningful impact: the team you build will define our success Fast decision cycles: high trust, high ownership, zero bureaucracy Equity upside: Competitive salary + meaningful equity in a well‑funded, fast‑growing startup Hybrid work available Seniority level Executive Employment type Full‑time Job function Human Resources #J-18808-Ljbffr
