AEC has a long history of providing trusted ECC care to the local veterinary community. While our facility is new, our emergency service is not – we’re building on years of experience, strong referral relationships and a reputation for high‑quality, reliable care. We are a 24/7 emergency and specialty hospital, providing ECC alongside a specialist surgical service led by Dr Charles Kuntz and Dr Malcolm Jack. Emergency clinicians, nurses and surgeons work closely together, with genuine collaboration on complex cases and supportive handovers. Our new Moorabbin hospital has been custom‑designed for ECC and referral patients, with 8 modern consult rooms, 3 advanced surgical theatres, a dedicated Critical Care Unit, and separate dog and cat wards to support efficient workflows, patient comfort and high standards of care. We offer a structured induction, ensuring you’re well supported as you transition into the role, whether you’re new to ECC or already experienced.
