About The Role As a personal support worker, you will directly be supporting our clients who have acquired spinal cord injuries daily tasks in our clients’ homes. Assisting clients with transfers in and out of bed and wheelchairs, using hoists when required. Grooming, bathing, dressing and dental hygiene. Personal care, including toileting, bladder and bowel management. Basic wound care and self-medication. Domestic support such as meal preparation, light household duties and laundry. Community access such as driving to appointments and social activities Essential Skills And Qualifications Experience in disability or aged care, while regarded, is not a requirement for the role - full training provided. A valid Driver's Licence and own reliable vehicle is required. A smartphone device. Hold, or willing to obtain, NDIS Workers Screening Card and Blue Card. NDIS Workers Orientation Module.
