Club Eastside is a community club and family venue. Our aim is to ensure that our members enjoy the best facilities and services available. Our award-winning TAB-licensed venue has a large bar and bistro area and a gaming room with 55 pokies machines. Our team members are our most valuable asset and represent the club's values by showing a positive and friendly attitude toward our customers. About the role We are currently seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Head chef in managing our kitchen team. This is an above-award salaried position with varying shifts over seven days, depending on the needs of the business. This is a hands‑on leadership role, being responsible for all kitchen processes and management. Your tasks will include but are not limited to Controlling and directing the food preparation and any other relative activities Creating menus with new or existing culinary creations ensures the variety and quality of the servings Plan orders of equipment and ingredients according to identified shortages Monitoring kitchen working hours and wages Be fully in charge of hiring, managing, and training kitchen staff Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards Your skills and experience Previous experience as Head Chef Highly developed communication and leadership skills Proven ability in kitchen management Up to date with culinary trends and optimized kitchen processes Credentials in health and safety training What we offer Rewarding and competitive salary with above‑award wages Full‑time management position with annual leave Fun and rewarding working environment with great team spirit To apply for this position please send your CV and cover letter to The General Manager at @clubeastside.com.au.
