12-Month Contract | FIFO offered ex Brisbane Only or Based in Gladstone/Biloela AreasLocation: Biloela Opportunity available for a highly experienced and accredited RPEQ Electrical Engineer with specialised expertise in hazardous area environments for an exciting site based role. This is a key opportunity to drive major electrical projects within a safe and dynamic power generation environment. Key Responsibilities Lead electrical design efforts, ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulations Develop detailed scopes of work (SOW) and provide accurate project estimates Support project phases from planning through execution, troubleshooting, and stakeholder communication Collaborate across multidisciplinary teams to deliver robust engineering solutions Drive safety compliance and support hazard assessments in hazardous areas Ideal Candidate Profile RPEQ registered with accredited experience in electrical engineering, focusing on hazardous environments Proven track record in power station or industrial electrical projects Strong leadership and team management skills Extensive knowledge of safety standards (AS/NZS, IEC) applicable to hazardous areas Excellent communication abilities for stakeholder engagement and technical guidance Meticulous attention to detail with proactive problem-solving skills What is on Offer Competitive 12 month contract with potential for extension Flexibility: FIFO 5/2 roster (from Brisbane only) or locals based in Gladstone or Biloela Opportunity to lead critical electrical projects at one of Queensland’s major power stations Dynamic work environment focused on safety, innovation, and energy sustainability How to Apply If you are a qualified RPEQ Electrical Engineer seeking a leadership role in a challenging and rewarding environment, submit your CV clearly outlining your experience with hazardous areas and power station projects.
