Please do not contact the recruiter directly. Fitch Ratings Australia / New Zealand Structured Finance and Covered Bonds team is currently seeking an Analyst based out of our Sydney office. As one of the world’s top three credit rating agencies, Fitch Ratings plays a critical role in global capital markets by providing supplementary credit analysis, ratings, research, and commentary to financial market participants. How You’ll Make an Impact Ensure all structured finance transactions/covered bond programmes are reviewed on a continuous 12-month schedule and that all programmes have been reviewed at least once a year by the due date. Perform data analysis using Excel and Fitch-generated models. Prepare analytical documentation based on Fitch templates. Present analytical documentation and communicate comments and opinions in committee effectively. Prepare press releases based on Fitch templates. Rate new transactions, including looking at new asset classes and issuers. Provide timely market/transaction performance commentary. Manage queries from issuers, bankers and investors – represent Fitch and communicate effectively with external transaction parties. Participate in originator/servicer review meetings. Lead adhoc projects/reporting and author reports. You May Be a Good Fit If Undergraduate degree in a finance-related discipline. A minimum of 2 years structured finance experience from an issuer, arranger or trustee (preference in a credit or analytical role). Proficiency in Excel to manipulate, transform and perform calculations to support proposals and recommendations. Intermediate Excel skills employing vlookup, sumif, if, index, match, etc. Strong time management skills and a high level of attention to detail.
