Senior Pharmacist Clinical Lead – NSW Health Employment Type : Temporary Full Time (up to 30/6/26) Position Classification : Pharmacist Grade 3 Remuneration : $69.14 – $71.01 per hour Hours Per Week : 38 Location : Blacktown & Mt Druitt Hospitals, Western Sydney Local Health District We are looking for an experienced pharmacist to lead and develop high performing clinical pharmacy services across Blacktown & Mount Druitt Hospitals, overseeing practitioner competence, professional growth and clinical outcomes. Where You'll Be Working Join the Pharmacy Department across Blacktown and Mount Druitt Hospitals, part of Western Sydney Local Health District. You’ll be part of a progressive, collaborative and supportive team driven to deliver outstanding patient care and continuous improvement in clinical services. What You'll Be Doing Lead and oversee the delivery of clinical pharmacy services. Allocate duties and support staff pharmacists in consultation with Pharmacy Coordinators. Coordinate training, placement supervision and development activities for pharmacists and students. Ensure quality assurance and adherence to SHPA standards and policies. Initiate, collaborate in and contribute to clinical research. Essential Criteria Pharmacy qualifications (e.g., Bachelor of Pharmacy) and satisfy Grade 3 classification as per Health Employees Pharmacists (State) Award. Full and unrestricted Pharmacist Registration with AHPRA. Selection Criteria Demonstrated excellent communication skills (written, verbal, interpersonal). Extensive experience in clinical pharmacy practice. Excellent therapeutic knowledge and initiative in applying pharmaceutical principles to clinical practice. Organisational skills and the ability to prioritise work and manage time to meet deadlines. Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team with high self‑motivation and ability to effect practice change. Leadership ability and experience in staff supervision and training. Willingness to work weekends and on‑call as per departmental rosters.
