IT Laptop Install & On Site Support x 100 (Casual / Contract) Both on‑site installation of laptop computers and on‑site support for students completing their selective examinations. Locations Chatswood West Ryde Hornsby Pennant Hills Cherrybrook Baulkham Hills Castle Hill The Ponds Seven Hills Riverstone St Clair Penrith How to Apply Attend the Information Session at our office, held every Wednesday at 12pm. Address: Suite 38, Corner Aird Street Confirm your attendance by emailing *******@works4you.com.au Hourly Rate Saturday: first 3 hours – $52.50, $70.00 thereafter Sunday: $70.00 Work Schedule Install: 29 & 30 April and 1 May. Onsite support: 1 & 2 May. Bump Out: afternoon 2 May, 3 May. Install: 6 & 7 May Onsite Support: 8 & 9 May. Bump Out: afternoon 9th May & 10th May. Tasks Task 1: Installation Setup requires unloading vehicles, transporting boxes/road cases to various rooms in various venues, unpacking boxes/road cases, running power boards and leads and then placing laptop computers on desks in a pre‑determined pattern, connecting a USB mouse to each, connecting the laptops to power and taping down any cabling to prevent trip hazards. Power on the laptops and ensure they connect to the venue Wi‑Fi and open the testing app. Task 2: Onsite Support On the exam days (Fri/Sat), some venues will require 1 on‑site IT resource for 6 hrs each day. The role involves replacing any laptops that cannot be resolved by the exam staff. Strict guidelines for behaviour must be adhered to – no mobile phone usage or inattentiveness. Task 3: Bump Out / Uninstall A reversal of the installation stage: packing items and removing them from site. Experience / Requirements Installation techs must be physically fit & healthy due to manual handling of computer hardware. Must be available on 29 & 30 April and 6 & 7 May (minimum). Onsite support techs should have experience diagnosing/fixing Windows 10+, MS Office and general Windows application support.
